Kentasia by Veronnikka Kentasia by Veronnikka
An assignment/offer from my former art teacher. The art apartment in my school participate in a "Portrait Program" every year, in which the students do portraits for orphans in charity organizations as gifts for these children. We get A4 sized photographs from the organizations, draw/paint from them, and send the finished pictures back. I am no longer in any art class this year, but I took the offer as a challenge and did my best.

The girl in the picture is named Kentasia, from Jamaica. She has such a beautiful smile and I feel sorry that she is orphaned. :( Hope she likes this picture and wish her a happy life. :hug:

==================

Watercolor on Canson paper, 93/8"*121/2".

Thank you so much! Watercolor is actually a very handy media, once you know how it behaves on your paper. :D

(And many people hate the too-sharp water edges):D Watercolor can form the shparpest outlines, and that's extremely useful when you need them. I smooth them out deliberately most times though.

Ah, I do record some process, but I don't think I have enough skills to teach other people... I'll wait till I'm more experienced. :aww:
